Welcome To Food Allergy Ally

Food Allergy Support

Food allergies can cause you and your family great anxiety.  If you are overwhelmed, scared and frustrated, you have come to the right place. After my daughter was diagnosed with food allergies 9 years ago, I gained a wealth of first-hand living experience.    I have research, action plans and  many mistakes I made to share with you.  Through my services, I can show you how to effectively manage school, play dates, going out to eat, traveling, and more.

My goal is to use my knowledge to support families living with food allergies. I can help you relieve anxiety about things such as:  understanding ingredient labels, finding safe venues for parties, attending social events,  how to deal with people who don’t believe you really have a food “allergy” etc… I have seen it all! I am here to bring peace to your life.

There is NO charge for my services. However, a donation is requested to The Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia Food Allergy Reasearch Department. I am am an active member on the board. CHOP allergists and scientists are working on cures for this life threatening condition. Please contact Richard Breslin at 267-426-6506 or breslinr@email.chop.edu to donate and find out other ways you can help.

More than 12 million Americans have food allergies.  That’s one in 25 people.  About 3 million children in the U.S. have food allergies.  The number of ER visits due to food-induced anaphylaxis in the U.S. ranges from 60,000 to 125,000 depending on the source.

Tip Of The Moment!

When traveling always carry at least 4 epi pens. The life saving medicine in your epi pen only lasts for 20 minutes. If you are on the road or in the air, you need to buy time until you reach a hospital..
